With a distinguished career dedicated to alleviating chronic pain, Dr. Steven Siwek brings unparalleled expertise and compassion to his patients.
Dr. Siwek earned his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed his residency and fellowship at the prestigious Mayo Clinic. Complementing his medical training, he also holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Pepperdine University, equipping him with a unique blend of clinical and strategic insight.
As the founder of The Pain Center of Arizona in 2002, Dr. Siwek has been a pioneer in delivering innovative, comprehensive solutions for chronic pain. Under his leadership, The Pain Center has grown to thirteen locations across Arizona, transforming countless lives through advanced care. Dr. Siwek has been at the forefront of developing minimally invasive surgical techniques, offering patients effective relief with reduced recovery times.

As a double board-certified interventional pain physician, Dr. Adam J. Siwek brings expertise and compassion to every patient, offering cutting-edge solutions for chronic pain through a comprehensive range of interventional pain injections, implantable pain therapies, and minimally invasive spine surgeries.
Dr. Siwek earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University, laying the foundation for his patient-centered approach. He completed a surgical internship and anesthesia residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson, followed by a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine. Certified by The American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, Dr. Siwek combines advanced technical skill with a deep commitment to improving his patients’ quality of life.

Amanda Callahan is our Nurse Practitioner at Freedom Injury Network. Hailing from a small town in Iowa, Amanda relocated to the Phoenix area, where she began her career in the cardiac progressive unit at the Mayo Clinic. Driven by her passion for patient care, she pursued and earned her Master's Degree, graduating in 2020. Since joining the Freedom team in June 2022, Amanda has been committed to helping patients regain full functionality and enhance their quality of life.
Outside of work, Amanda stays active with gym workouts and hiking, and she enjoys the occasional country concert. She makes time to visit her parents and two brothers in Iowa whenever possible.
We’re thrilled to have Amanda serving patients at our Peoria, Gilbert, and Scottsdale clinics, as well as providing Telemed services across Arizona.

Dr. Sar Ahmed is a board‑certified, fellowship‑trained orthopedic surgeon known for his expertise in joint reconstruction and complex orthopedic care. Dr. Ahmed completed dual fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic, specializing in primary and revision hip and knee replacement, as well as shoulder arthroscopy and shoulder replacement. He also brings extensive experience in level‑one trauma, giving him a broad foundation for treating both routine and complex orthopedic conditions.
Dr. Ahmed is the founder of Desert Orthopedics Center and performs surgeries at Freedom’s Scottsdale campus, where he provides patient‑centered, advanced orthopedic care for injured patients.

Dr. John Klein is a skilled General Orthopedic Surgeon for Freedom Injury Network. Dr. Klein earned his medical degree with honors from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Maimonides Medical Center in New York. He went on to pursue advanced fellowship training in sports medicine at Stanford University and minimally invasive shoulder surgery in Texas.
Dr. Klein offers both surgical and non‑surgical treatment options, always aiming to help patients return to the highest possible quality of life. As a partner provider at Freedom Injury Network, Dr. Klein performs surgeries at our Scottsdale campus and Tucson surgery center.

Dr. Jane Caplan is a Harvard‑trained psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and consciousness‑based healer known for her integrative approach to mental and emotional wellness. Dr. Caplan blends psychotherapy with trauma neurobiology, somatic healing, and expanded states of consciousness to support deep, whole‑person recovery.
Her work includes ketamine‑assisted therapy, post‑accident trauma care, natural healing practices, and relational integration.
In addition to her role at Freedom, Dr. Caplan is the founder of AwarePsych and CAP Healing, and is recognized as one of the nation’s leading behavioral health specialists.

Dr. Harvinder Bedi partners with Freedom Integrated Healthcare as a spine surgeon who brings nationally recognized expertise in advanced and minimally invasive spine care.
Dr. Bedi earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in 2006 and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Buffalo, where he received the Theodore Papademetriou Award for excellence in orthopedic research and education. He went on to complete a combined neurosurgical and orthopedic spine fellowship at Cedars‑Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Dr. Bedi is widely regarded for his expertise in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine disorders, degenerative conditions, spinal trauma, deformity correction, artificial disc replacement, and computer‑assisted navigation.

Dr. Robert Walker, works with Freedom Integrated Healthcare as an orthopedic surgeon who brings advanced expertise in hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, total hip, and total knee care.
Dr. Walker completed his orthopedic surgery internship and residency at the University of Arizona–Phoenix, followed by a prestigious hand surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. He earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health.
He is committed to delivering patient‑centered, evidence‑based orthopedic care and is proud to expand these services as part of the Freedom Integrated Healthcare team.

Donald Hair, PA is Freedom's Physician's Assistant primarily serving patients at our Freedom Injury Network clinic in Tucson. Donald earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona and went on to achieve his Master of Medical Science from Midwestern University in 2011. Since joining the Freedom team in June 2015, he has been dedicated to helping patients in the Tucson area regain full functionality and enhance their quality of life with compassionate, expert care.

Sue Esho serves as the Vice President of Business Development for Freedom Injury Network and Freedom Integrated Healthcare. With more than 20 years of healthcare experience, she has been a dedicated member of the organization since 2005 and has played an important role in its operational growth and development.
Throughout her career at Freedom, Sue has helped support the expansion of the personal injury program, strengthen relationships with legal and community partners, and improve coordination between providers and patients. She works closely with leadership and clinical teams to support strategic initiatives, operational efficiency, and continued growth of Freedom’s integrated care model.
